Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani is a rising star with the release of his untitled third album. Ky-mani was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend and Jamaican champion at table tennis, Anita Belnavis. East African words for Ky-mani are a reference to an adventurous traveler. Being an East African man, his recordings and journeys represent an adventure. His journey into music began in the year 1999 with The Journey. With an eclectic vision he searched for his niche, roaming the musical spectrum, exploring his many talents. In 2001, Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae compilation was made available, showing a more mature Ky-Mani. Many More Roads and The Journey was well-received throughout the world. Ky-mani's popularity was confirmed as an independent artist. Ky-Mani's sound is a mixture of roots reggae overlaid with hip-hop, R&B along with contemporary jazz.
