Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actress, known for starring as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson in the NBC post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Revolution and for which she has been nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. Spiridakos is a native of Winnipeg in Manitoba was raised by Greek parents. Spiridakos' family relocated to Skala near Sparta at the age of four. Spiridakos came back to Canada at nine. She strongly identifies herself with her Greek heritage, and is proficient in Greek. The high school she graduated from was in Winnipeg and was in 2000. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver for acting in 2007. Within a matter of weeks, she found her first TV role. The role was a small role in the show Supernatural. She worked in television and was awarded her first starring part on Majority Rules! in 2009. In 2011 she debuted as an actress in feature films with Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
