Zoe Saldana (born June 19 in 1978) was born to Asalia Saldana and Aridio Saldana in Passaic New Jersey. Her father is Dominican, and her mother Puerto Rican. She was born in Queens. The family she was raised with moved from Queens, NY, to the Dominican Republic when she was 10; they lived there for seven years. Zoe found a great interest in performing dances while living abroad.
